Delta Turns TWO!

Delta turned two on January 21st and boy did we celebrate! We actually never gave her a proper 1st birthday, so we thought a party was due haha! Her personality is so fun and I had a great time choosing the theme based on some of her favorite things. We went with “Time TWO Fiesta!” and went all out Mexican decor. My dad is full hispanic, so it was also an ode to our heritage as well- it was SO fun!

I wanted to put our own spin on colors and decor, so of course we went with pinks and all the terracotta. I didn’t love serape colors, so I did what I could to make it bright and fun! My friend Ashley owns a balloon company, so she took care of balloons. We had it catered and ate fajitas. And then I ended up ordering from a separate Mexican food restaurant we love for a tres leches cake! It was SO DELISH.

I whipped up some coloring sheets that said “Delta’s 2nd Fiesta!” with cactus, maracas, and lots of other icons for the little ones to color and have something to do. This particular day was super cold outside, so we were all indoors. We stocked our sink with Modelo Ranch Waters, Topo Chico, and juice boxes. We sang happy birthday with my favorite over the top candle holder, had the best Mexican music playlist going, and celebrated our favorite 2 year old!

Delta loved it, there are so many of our friends and family we are so grateful for that love her and invest in her daily. It was such a fun party- there are a few images here, but head to my instagram to watch a full reel in video form of the day!
